This page is primarily a source of information that I find useful for personal use. I use FreeBSD 8.0 and a variety of Linux Distributions including Debian, Fedora, Centos and Gentoo. I like to keep up to date with current distributions and would eventually like to contribute a package of my own or to fix existing bugs. I am collecting the documents that I use here

I am currently employed as an Administrator/Systems Engineer specializing in the monitoring large numbers of Unix and Windows servers using Tivoli on Solaris. I would ideally like to work in a broader, more general role as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator. My CV is here

I am also actively involved in the refurbishment of Holbrook Chapel. We are currently restoring the upper school room due to problems with wood worm. It involves replacing plumbing, electrics, plaster, and floor boards. It is likely to keep us busy for quite a while and it is also a good excuse to go out for a pint on a Wednesday night. The chapel web site did not prove particularly useful, it was more an exercise in PHP and MySQL.
